About

Rainbow Warrior Mfg.
Established in 1996, before taking to the road, I set out to put high quality tie-dyes into the hands of fellow concert goers and hippies all across this beautiful country. And so I did..
Although I didn't solidify the name until years later, It was created with the idea in mind that we all have an adventure in us, a light to give back to the world, a gift to share, and a responsibility of making this world a wonderful place to live. It was created for the rainbow in us all.
Music found it's way into my heart at an early age. It allowed me to travel when I wasn't quite ready to leave home. It fed my pencil when I wasn't in the water surfing or grindin' up a curb and spent my time creating art. I think I always knew it would lead me to an adventure.
Not too far along into my adolescence I was side swiped by bus, a caravan if you will, or the fallout of a psychedelic circus that called me away from the ocean and filled my eyes, ears and soul with love. It was the music of the Grateful Dead and I wore it well. Changed the road ahead, forever.
I caught the bus late, but earlier than never, and had a handful of experiences while Garcia still graced the stage. Realizing after he passed that it wasn't exactly over and that the band still carried on. I took to the road and followed every damn variation I could across forty three states and damn near every musical palace from corner to corner.
Had a friend introduce me to tie-dye one night in his garage and I took to it well. Decided to stick with it and it carried me well across this beautiful country, living out of my truck, and allowed me the wondrous life of following my favorite musicians as I hustled dyes off the tailgate of my pick-up truck. Parking lot to parking lot, campsite to rest stops, amphitheaters; clubs and coliseums.
In the days between, 1996 and 2004, I put over four thousand tie-dyes into the dancing crowds that poured out onto the streets night after night, town after town, and show after show.
Took a hiatus, after making some children's. It was pulling at my heart, so I decide to find my way home, back to this wonderful life of dodging lights and wasting time...
I hope you find one of my dyes calls to you and I get to see you at the show!
